About the Author

Michael James Ekperikpe is a teacher, pastor and missionary strategist, passionate about restoring the Church to her biblical identity.

He is the Founder and Team Lead of READ AND REAP BIBLE ENTERPRISES (a.k.a. READ AND REAP MISSION), a discipleship and mercy ministry inaugurated on 23rd April 2019. For seven years, the mission has provided Bibles, books, school fees and spiritual care to orphans and vulnerable children across Nigeria.

His life message is simple: The Church is not a place we go; she is a people we become.

A native of Nto Okon, a suburb in Ukanafun Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, he currently serves from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, with his wife, Excel Michael Ekperikpe, and their children, Victoria and Destiny.

When he is not teaching or writing, he is found on the mission field, measuring foundations, holding plumblines, and trusting God for the capstone (Zech 4:7).

THE TRUTH ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH is his first published Church topic book, born from 30+ years of ministry and a burden to see the Bride make herself ready (Rev. 19:6-9).

And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.” (Rev. 19:6-9)
